How to use this tool

Choose pages to number, the starting number, and a position. Selected pages receive consecutive numbers in their original document order, even if your selection is entered out of order. The prefix supports basic Latin text such as “Page ”. Numbers are drawn over existing content and do not replace old numbering; inspect the margins before sharing.

Limits and document support

Use an unencrypted PDF with 1–500 pages and a size below 50 MiB. Interactive forms are not supported; export a flattened copy first. Saving rewrites the PDF and invalidates digital signatures. Unusual document features may not survive rewriting; inspect the downloaded result.
