Delete PDF pages
Remove unwanted pages from a PDF while keeping the remaining pages in their original order.
How it works & useful details
How to use this tool
Enter the pages to remove, such as 2, 4-6. Remaining pages keep their original order and dimensions. At least one page must remain. This removes whole pages; it is not a redaction tool.
Limits and document support
Use an unencrypted PDF with 1โ500 pages and a size below 50 MiB. Interactive forms are not supported; export a flattened copy first. New documents copy pages only. Document metadata, bookmarks, attachments, page labels, and digital signatures are not preserved; page links may stop working.
About this tool
Delete PDF pages removes whole pages you no longer need while keeping every remaining page in its original order and dimensions. It is a quick way to drop blank scans, outdated cover sheets, or internal pages before sending a document out.
The tool is not a redaction tool: it removes pages entirely rather than hiding text or images inside a page. Deletion happens locally in your browser, and at least one page must remain in the document.
How to use it
- Choose one unencrypted PDF file.
- Enter the pages to remove, such as 2, 4-6; pages of the remaining document keep their order.
- Select Delete pages.
- Download the trimmed PDF and check the result before sharing it.
Worked example
In a 10-page scan, entering 2, 4-6 removes pages 2, 4, 5, and 6. The new document has 6 pages: the originals 1, 3, 7, 8, 9, and 10, in that order and with their original sizes. At least one page must remain, so entering every page is rejected.
Typical uses and one important warning
Removing blank pages from a double-sided scan, dropping the ad pages from a downloaded statement, or taking an unneeded appendix out of a contract draft before sending are all quick with page ranges. Use the page numbers your PDF viewer shows in its page counter, not the numbers printed on the pages, which may differ.
Deleting a page is not redaction. If sensitive information appears on a page you keep, deleting other pages does not hide it. Blacking out text with a drawn box does not remove the text underneath either, since it can still be copied. Use a dedicated redaction feature, such as those in Adobe Acrobat or other PDF editors, which removes the underlying content.
Frequently asked questions
Can I delete every page?
No. The tool always keeps at least one page, and it validates the selection before processing.
Does deleting a page remove hidden content on other pages?
No. Deleting a page removes that page only. To remove content inside a page you need a redaction tool, not this one.
What limits apply?
One unencrypted PDF with 1-500 pages and a size below 50 MiB. Interactive forms are not supported; export a flattened copy first.
Are bookmarks updated?
Bookmarks, attachments, and document metadata are not carried over to the new file, and internal links to removed pages stop working.
