How to use this tool
List every page exactly once in the desired order. For a three-page document, 3, 1-2 moves the last page to the front. To reverse three pages, use 3, 2, 1. Missing pages, duplicate pages and descending ranges are rejected.
Limits and document support
Use an unencrypted PDF with 1–500 pages and a size below 50 MiB. Interactive forms are not supported; export a flattened copy first. New documents copy pages only. Document metadata, bookmarks, attachments, page labels, and digital signatures are not preserved; page links may stop working.
About this tool
Reorder PDF pages rebuilds a document using an explicit page order that you provide. Because you list every page exactly once, the result is checked for missing or repeated pages before anything is generated.
Typical uses include moving a signature page to the front, reversing a scan, or fixing a document whose pages were captured out of sequence. The work is done locally in your browser and the source file is never modified.
How to use it
- Choose one unencrypted PDF file.
- List every page in the order you want, for example 3, 1-2 to move the last page to the front.
- Select Reorder pages.
- Download the rebuilt PDF and verify the new sequence.
Worked examples
For a three-page document:
- 3, 1-2: moves the last page to the front.
- 3, 2, 1: reverses the document.
- 1, 3, 2: swaps the last two pages.
Every page must appear exactly once. A missing or duplicated page is reported instead of being silently dropped or doubled, so the output always contains the same pages as the input.
Fixing scans out of order
A common case is a double-sided document scanned on a single-sided scanner: first all the fronts, then all the backs in reverse order. For a 6-page document scanned as fronts 1, 3, 5 followed by backs 6, 4, 2, the file contains the pages in the order 1, 3, 5, 6, 4, 2. Entering 1, 6, 2, 5, 3, 4 interleaves them back into reading order: position 1 (page 1), position 6 (page 2), position 2 (page 3), and so on.
For long documents it can be quicker to extract sections and merge them in the new order.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to list every page?
Yes. Reorder needs a complete list so it can guarantee that no page is dropped or duplicated. Use Delete or Extract if you only need some pages.
Can I reverse a document?
Yes. For three pages, enter 3, 2, 1. Descending ranges such as 3-1 are rejected, so write the pages individually.
What are the limits?

Why is 5-3 rejected?
Descending ranges are rejected to avoid ambiguity. List the pages individually instead: 5, 4, 3.
