How to use this tool
Leave Pages blank for every page or choose ranges such as 1, 3-5. The selected clockwise rotation is added to each page’s current rotation. Page contents remain vector/text data; nothing is rasterized.
Limits and document support
Use an unencrypted PDF with 1–500 pages and a size below 50 MiB. Interactive forms are not supported; export a flattened copy first. Saving rewrites the PDF and invalidates digital signatures. Unusual document features may not survive rewriting; inspect the downloaded result.
About this tool
Rotate PDF pages turns all or selected pages clockwise by 90, 180, or 270 degrees. The added rotation is applied on top of each page’s existing orientation, which fixes sideways scans without changing anything else about the document.
Rotating adjusts page orientation rather than re-rendering content. Text stays selectable and images keep their original quality because nothing is rasterized. The operation runs entirely on your device.
How to use it
- Choose one unencrypted PDF file.
- Leave Pages blank for every page, or select ranges such as 1, 3-5.
- Choose the clockwise rotation: 90, 180, or 270 degrees.
- Select Rotate pages and download the updated PDF.
Worked example
A 20-page report has landscape tables on pages 7 and 12-14 that appear sideways. Entering 7, 12-14 with 90° clockwise turns just those pages. Leaving the page field blank rotates every page, which is useful for a whole document scanned the wrong way up with 180°.
Lossless rotation
The rotation is stored as a page property, and the added angle combines with any rotation the page already has. The page content itself is not redrawn. Text stays selectable, vector drawings stay sharp, and the file size barely changes. That is different from rotating a scanned image in a photo editor, which re-encodes the pixels.
Rotation rewrites the PDF, so digital signatures become invalid. Rotate pages before a document is signed. Interactive forms and encrypted files are not supported. Flatten or unlock them first.
Frequently asked questions
Does rotating reduce quality?
No. The tool changes page rotation metadata and keeps the original vector and text content, so there is no re-compression or quality loss.
What happens to digital signatures?
Saving rewrites the PDF, which invalidates digital signatures. Unusual document features may not survive the rewrite, so inspect the downloaded result.
