How to use this tool
Enter the pages to keep, such as 3, 1-2. The output follows your entered order and preserves original page dimensions. Pages are numbered from 1; duplicate pages and descending ranges are rejected.
Limits and document support
Use an unencrypted PDF with 1–500 pages and a size below 50 MiB. Interactive forms are not supported; export a flattened copy first. New documents copy pages only. Document metadata, bookmarks, attachments, page labels, and digital signatures are not preserved; page links may stop working.
About this tool
Extract PDF pages creates a new document that contains only the pages you name, in exactly the order you enter them. It is handy for pulling a signed page, a single chapter, or a handful of exhibits out of a longer report.
Processing happens locally in a browser worker. Pages keep their original dimensions and content, and because the source document is only read, your original file stays as it was.
How to use it
- Choose one unencrypted PDF file.
- Enter the pages to keep, for example 3, 1-2; the output follows your entered order.
- Select Extract pages.
- Download the new PDF and save it next to the original.
Worked example
Entering 3, 1-2 on a document creates a new PDF with the original page 3 first, followed by pages 1 and 2. The output follows exactly the order you type, so extracting and reordering happen in one step. Duplicate pages and descending ranges such as 5-3 are rejected, so a typo cannot silently produce a different document.
Extract vs. split vs. delete
- Extract: one new PDF containing only the pages you list. Best for sending a single chapter, a signature page, or the relevant pages of a long statement.
- Split: a separate PDF for each selected page. Best for breaking a batch scan into individual documents.
- Delete: the whole document minus the pages you list. Best when you want to keep almost everything.
Pages are copied, not re-rendered, so text stays selectable and searchable, and vector graphics stay sharp at any zoom level.
Frequently asked questions
Can I repeat a page or use a descending range?
No. Pages must be numbered from 1, and duplicate pages or ranges written high-to-low such as 5-3 are rejected so the output order stays unambiguous.
